    Default Stop using aircel 3G, they are cheating by speed

    here is my real story..............

    First, I recharged Rs.7 pack to check the speed.. and I was very happy sometime I got 4mbps.... Then I decided to recharge by Rs.128 (500mb data with high-speed 3.06mbps and after that 128kbps). So after recharged I finished 500mb data in one day and then my speed became 128kbps. I still continue downloading and after 15 days I notice that my speed very low, not even 128kbps (I am using Idea Net Setter Dongal). So I called customer care and they said that I completed 5GB data so my speed become 32kbps .. what the f**k. They have this kind of setting over all the data pack. If you use Rs.7 pack then you will get 3.06mbps(50mb)----128kbps(500mb)---- after that 32kbps.

    So basically they are making us fool by speed. They said all pack is unlimited but what about the speed. Why they can not make speed only 128kbps last. Why it reduce to 32kbps which is less that 2G speed.

    So I want you all spread this awareness and help our friend and people. I will not stop here .. I am going to spread this on internet.

    I am also going to report that to the TRAI also.

    Thank you. Yesterday I purchased a Aircel SIM for using internet but till now I didn't recharge any pack.

    Thanks for the info man.I was really looking forward to take services from them.But still i think that is quite reasonable as you get a lot more data usage for basic browsing people like me.
    But still they should mention their fare usage policy while giving plans.

    Check this you will find the Aircel's unlimited plans with tier 1 and tier 2 speed caps !!

    very well said bro its same problem with me i thought its unlimited internet usage without any fair usage policy for gprs but

    those mother fuckers cut the speed after some amount as u said for 14 Rs recharge u get 250mb nice speed if u cross it u net keep disconnecting and takes tons of time to load

    though i am trying find a solution for keep constant flow of net i will give info if what i am doing works

    but yeah almost all companies are frauds

    Airtel and aircel are worst of them they even reduce u r account balance till it become 0 they wont even give a warning msg about our usage ....atleast Vodafone gives a warning around 80% data usage

    Another thing is think u want to activate a plan for 3 days like RS 14 Pocket inter net plan and if u activate it in evening 7 PM and u only get 2 more days to browse as aircel dont consider it 72 hours they take days as consideration

    soo be carefull if u want to use Pocket internet to its full activate it around morning ,, even if u activate plan in night 10pm and u browse only 2 hours its considered as 1 full day

    after data limit the speed will be deducted and pls tell me one thing that if u use after 500 mb on 2g network is ur main balance got deducted i mean if u have 3g plan and u use it on just only 2g network is ur balance get deducted ??

    My Aircel # is +919807158015. I bought the SIM only for prepaid data connectivity and not for making/receiving calls for which I have a Voda number. This Aircel SIM is always in my dongle connected to my desktop. Only to ascertain balance usage I insert the Aircel SIM in a mobile phone and dial *122*011#. For this they always make a deduction of Rs1 or Rs2. I cannot send the message via my dongle: ZTE4201-I as it does not accept */#/etc. They send all kind of messages that I read via my dongle SMS that they have deducted for caller tunes or for CRDT (?) all without my prior approval. Now the balance talktime has got reduced to Rs0.90 and every now and then I get a message to topup. What for? To be cheated further? I am subscribed to prepaid Rs198/1.5GB/30 days unlimited data usage that I topup whenever high speed data balance is over. Writing to their customer service at care.upeast@aircel.co.in only enlists excuses:
    "Dear xxxxxx,

    Thank you for writing to AIRCEL.

    This is in reference to your e-mail dated 01st May'14 regarding not able to check your remaining data balance on your Aircel number 9807158015, we would like to inform you that as per our records there's no charge for checking your data balance, there must be some temperory issue due to which you are not able to check the same. We request you to kindly check your data balance through the data card window that appears on your computer screen when you connects the same.

    We sincerely regret for the inconvenience caused to you.

    It is our privilege to have you as our valued customer and we look forward to a long and fruitful association with you.

    Assuring you of our best services always.

    Warm Regards

    Customer Service, Aircel."

    My father uses aircel because he got a decent corporate deal due to the number of connections he got from aircel so they have some deal for data as well which I find to be very reasonable and there has been no billing problems either as those are all post paid connections. I do not use an aircel connection as I dont like the idea of post paid so for data I use a MTS dongle these days along with an MTNL dongle and for the mobile phone I use airtel and they all doing fine. I have such problems with airtel some time ago and I just didn't rest until they set everything right for me. I even fought for Rs2 for over a month and after the charge was reversed I demanded a written apology for messing me around for over a month and I didn't stop calling until they did that too and since then Airtel has been living in peace with me.

    Keep calling Aircel's customer support till they sort out your billing or just keep sending 2-3 e-mails every day and keep them busy. Eat away their man hours so they realize that it is cheaper to do your billing honestly. Make sure you do not stop until they get their act together.
