Aircel being something new in Delhi, its difficult to know what their service is like, although Aircel has been present in many other states in India, like Punjab.

Whats your count on Aircel, and how would you rate their service regarding reception, call cost (tariffs), customer service and services providing from Aircel.

In karnataka Aircel plans are as follows.

Student plan

Recharge - 350 for 1 yr
Talktime - 200
call rates - 60ps for other network, 10 ps for Aircel to Aircel, 1Re for landline
SMS - Daily 100 sms free. After that 10 ps / sms

General Plan

Recharge - 199 for life time
Talktime - 50 rs
call rates - 75 ps other network, 50 ps Aircel, 1re landline
sms - pack available else 50 ps / sms

The network quality in karnataka is very bad at the moment, still there is a lot to improve in that. Currently they have provided Demo SIM's (as i have shop) from that itself call will not connect to any number even an Aircel number.

Aircell is been proving services here in Tamil Nadu for many years. Though I am not using Aitcell, as far as what I have hear from others is that their service is very good & even the tariff are with par with other providers. The network of Aircell is very good here in Tamil Nadu (better than Airtel & BSNL).

So Aircel is quite cheap then! But it all depends on their reception. As the second most important thing is reception which has to be good no matter where you are!

In Tamil Nadu AIRCEL has best service, in other circles its on expansion spree so at initial stage cant expect a better service quality from them.

i think no operator will be in a position to provide a top quality service as soon as they launch their service at a particular circle.

Thats correct no body can provide it, but atleast they should give some connectivity na , here in karnataka even connectivity is not there, i am sure it will be done soon. By doing like this they will loose their reputation.

its worst network....i am from tamil nadu they are here for past many years still they cant able to provide good signal then how they can provide good service in other states

I'm from tamil nadu. The tariff plans of aircel is awesome and cheap everywhere. But The network is very much congested. An sms takes nearly 2mins to reach other network numbers. but aircel 2aircel is quite faster.

I took aircel lifetime sim new connection for 60Rs, hope its good. Its not activated right now. Docs given. Lets see.i am amaged by 98 unlimited gprs thingy.

i took me 5hours to send an sms to my brother from idea cellular mentioning that i reached house safely.
He definitly got worried.

instead of installing new towers a.k.a BTS Aircel is sharing spectrum with other networks this is the main reason for congestion.

i recharged my account with Rs.98/- unlimited internet plan, and its rocking..
i was paying more than 600/- for the same service with idea...

i hope they will continue this...

I am a computer geek, now currently repairing a motherboard who's tracks for an IC is vanished

(company said cant repair tracks so i am doing it myself)

I am a gadget geek too... i am trying to make a Bond watch with actual burning laser in it.

(not to cut the steel plates obviously)

then.... i do most of the work myself like yesterday i did some plumbing work at home as some pipe broke out (due to my extraordinary brain only)

i am software developer too.. currently working in collaboration with my brother on 3 projects

i am remembering only this much ill update when i remember more
