God why do you have to shout and tell everyone that you are getting 3g speedson 2g . It is not a such a big deal for me as i have been using it for 6 months, but since now some of you guys are trying to be good samaritans spoils it all , as they are rectifying it now. Now get used to 2g .

You guys should have kept your mouth shuttt....Now I cant enjoy my 3G speed since a week....I dont know why U guys were so desperate to post this..Now enjoy your 2G speed...

it hapened to me i was given offer by docomo for 3gb 3g data. now its 16kbps i am from pune

Long ago..., airtel used to provide good service, I was a happy customer for more than 3 years. But there service now is pathetic, and a bunch of illiterate guys they have put in customer care (pain in you a**). If you ask something they reply something else, and without confirming with you they close the issue. I dont know, why the hell they have a customer care number 121 if you need to browse through the IVR options and struggle to speak to one executive. All total, I will describe the service as pathetic. You are good as long as you dont need any help from the customer service, but once you need some help from them you are screwed. I have just changed my service from airtel to vodafone being fustrated with their service, at least vodafone have some intelligent guys in the customer service.

yes dude same here i am using airtel 7.2 mbps data card den i recharged my sim with 18 rupees net cerd and den i changed my settings i.e. tools>options>network> i changed frm gsm only to gsm preferred and in registration mode i registered airtel (2g) (3g)
