Thread: did 3G charges double on 1 Dec?

Sorry, I live abroad and can't verify this for myself until I return on 18 Dec.

No they did not double its just that they had a special offer going on till 30th of Nov and were giving double bandwidth so from 1st dec prices went back to normal giving you an impression that they have doubled.

Just to be sure...are you merely correcting my language, or did you directly verify that prices have actually gone back to their old levels? Many thanks,

Offer has been extended, today one of my friend recharged with 750 and got 4GB data....

Thank you for yet another helpful post. I was in India and did not check this forum. However, on 17 Dec I signed up for 3g, and the SMS I received listed double data offers, including 2.5GB for Rs. 675. I selected it and got only 1.25GB.

I called Airtel twice and got only BS, such as "the bonus will appear in 48 hours" (it did not). My e-mails to Airtel did not even elicit an automatic acknowledgement. They just ignored it.

As I understand it, there is nowhere to complain.

The special offer is back again, got an email from airtel on the same with this link.

So guess they are trying to rope in more people on the same. This offer is valid for 3 months.
