    Smile 3g spped in 2g plans

    Hy!! I am getting 3g Speed in 2g Plan in Airtel....

    Getting around 350 KBPS...

    that will be only for few hrs after the 2g recharge. though later your sim's speed profile will remain the same but you wont be getting any

    hie guys i had airtel 3g modem previously i enjoyed 3G speed on 2G plan but recently it droped to 2G speed then i unlocked the modem now i need best #g plans (or) any tricks in airtel to get 3G speed on 2G plan.can anyone help me how i can use 3G speed on 2G plans

    i guess there is some problem with airtel or may they are doing this deliberately.... what i am trying to say is that when i used to pay 2g pack then i get 2g speed.

    on other sim with 3G pay as u go plan activated, i am getting 2g speed, and on the same sim i did a Rs.102 3G recharge (via offcial airtel website), i am still getting 2g speed.

    NOT TO FORGET THAT, I ALL INSTANCES, sim's (BOTH SIM) SPEED PROFILE REMAINS 7.2 Mbps AND DOEST GETS CAPPED AS OTHER OPERATORS IS DOING.

    what you guys have to say about this...????

    but a senior member of this same forum is using the 2G sim card and he is getting speeds of 2-3 kBps only..

    i have strong singnal in many divices me and

    Its Over atleast maybe for me, On my 2G pack even on selecting 3G mode I am getting 2G speeds, till december I was getting around 1mbps. I think Airtel has started to make corrections to their networks now.

    If you are on 2G services(i.e u have not sent sent 3G to 121 yet), recharge with any 2G plan, suppose Rs.98/1Gb then in your network settings switch to Dual Mode. Your Phone will automatically select 3G network if available and you can enjoy 3G speeds on 2G plans.
