Default Another small Airtel 3G billing query, just for confirmation

    Hello guys,
Although my initial issue seems to be resolved, I can't help posting another question (sorry). So I have this Airtel 3G Datacard USB stick with Rs. 950 unlimited (6GB 3g and 2g thereafter) plan, and it got activated yesterday. Like I stated in my previous post, roaming had to be enabled and the APN was et to airtelgprs.com (which Chuckles clearly pointed out to be a right choice for 3g).

Now, I planted my sim card from datacard to mobile and sent sms of 3guse to check the usage. The message that came exactly reads like:
"Your approximate 3G data usage as ON 16/05/2012 is 1745.33 MB. This excludes monthly charges and discounts. Actual data usage will reflect in your next bill." (from customercare).

So, my question is, since they are using 'excludes'. does this mean in any way that they'll charge me more than Rs. 950?

Thanks for any help (and sorry again for sounding really stupid. I am kinda new to these sticks, and previously had had soe really bitter experience related to billing issues).

And you still went for POSTPAID once again. What can i say...you are in deep trouble brother...you can get a bill of anywhere from Rs 1000 to Rs 100000 or even more...its upto the mercy of the ISP since in a way you have presented your ass to them by opting for POSTPAID.

But they told me already that their plan is just Rs. 950 per month, with unlimited internet usage. And they repeatedly assured me that nothing more than 950 will come, since the plan is unlimited. Is that a fraud plan you mean to inform?

Actually, I wanted unlimited internet and the facility is not being provided to prepaid users for 950.

Im not saying it is a fraud plan. But you never know when this plan goes out(and they wont even inform you about that)...its one of the tactics of postpaid connection. So what would then stand?? After 2months of unlimited usage and getting a bill of not more than Rs 950, at the end of the 3rd month all of a sudden you would get a bill of around Rs xxxxxx i.e. as per your usage calculated @ Re 1 per MB(example). How much would or could you argue with them?? They are a COMPANY...they have people to handle these type of matters. They would easily prove that they had sent you a notice regarding the change of plan on your registered address via private company mail You would be the one to be found guilty then POSTPAID IS A DANGEROUS THING...

Did you ever wonder why these ISPs have such plans only in POSTPAID and not in PREPAID?? Dimaag ki batti jalao...jaago grahak jaago!
