Thread: Anyone is using airtel broad band in Calicut - Kerala

Is any users have using airtel broadband in calicut (using airtel land line)..?
I am planning to take one Airtel broadband for VOIP calls using Linksys PAP2 Devices.

Airtel is OK for VOIP Service..?
Witch ADSL Modem they will provide to us..?
Witch is the best tariff for VOIP use..?


Please help me; i am waiting for your valued suggestion

i am not from calicut but have been using airtel BB for the past 1 and half years herein cochin.So far so good,Never had any serious isues with the Airtel connection.

I am using Home 999 which is 384kbps unlmited bandwidth scheme

for VOIP this should be good enough(i am using skype and live messenger mostly for video calling)

you can also try another tariff that is home 1499 (512kbps unlimited bandwidth) pretty good for streaming content

overall airtel network is one of the best available in kerala with less downtime and excellent customer care
