Thread: I am on Airtel BB

Finally i am back and now on Airtel BB

The things which i got are

1.) Telephone set
2.) Huwaii Smartax MT880
3.) Splitter, LAN cable and other cables

How much i paid:

i paid only rs 1000/- including everything i.e. for modem and telephone set, wiring etc etc and i got my connection today i.e. it took 2 days only

My plan:

It is HOME 999 which offers a bandwidth of 384 Kbps Unlimited and i am getting a minimum of 40 KB/s of actual DL speed! that pretty satisfactory

Are you sure abt this, you should be getting atleast 80-90 Kbps on a 384 Kbps line.

welcome to the clan man... i paid Rs 800 for installation out of which 600 will be refunded to me in subsequent 3 months.

the speeds are above what they claim it is. i get 35KBps on the 256kbps plan.

weell this seems like good service,

Dude thats impossible as maximum you can get on a 384 Kbps bandwidth is 384/8= 48KB/s nothing more than that! hope i am clear

yes it is wired so the net is strong enough not a wi-fi chutyapa leading to weak signal losses and ping time out xD
