    Default Really Slow Upload Rate

Guys I am having real trouble with my Upload rate i am getting extremely low speeds For Uploading 8MB File i have to wait 20Min.So you can say only about 5-10Kb/s upload rate though the speed test show high upload speed like 300kbps but i am not even close to 20-25KB/s but one thing is that Utorrent gives me upload speed of about 35-45KB/s but i guess since it is a p2p program i will give higher upload speeds.

Sorry Forgot i am using 384kbps plan and if anybody is using the same plan can he tell me wht Upload speed he is getting

    Please Guys Help me out.

The upload rate to websites like RS are not constant and usually vary depending on n/w traffic. Some people say that d/l speeds are max in the morn, try uploading at that time and see.

If everybody is going to go for downloading in the morning,
soon the good speeds during that time will also die out.

    Oh!!!!
Isn't your plan speed is 384 kbps?
Then the maximum estimated upload speed you'll get will only be around 20 kbps.

Your ADSL Statistics are similar to mine , this has something to do with the cable cut , after having a word with CC they suggested to wait till the 4th of Jan 2009 , that's the ETA for the undersea cable issues to be sorted out , like you even I am getting an upload rate of 11 to 15 KBps on RS and 40+ on torrents even after using a premium account . Check to see if this problem occures after the 4th and then contact CC, disregard my previous reply to your query posted in the thread "New Airtel Broadband connection Upload speed is verylow" .
