Rep Power: 0 | Hi, I am attempting to setup Vonage over my existing AirTel BB. I've a Beetel 110bx1 ADSL2 Modem; The setup as configured by the AirTel Engineer uses Windows XP Dialer to establish the PPPoE connection - Internet access is fine from my laptop; no issues. I plugged in the Vonage adaptor as specified in the Vonage installation docs - Phone line => Beetel Modem => Vonage Adaptor => Laptop. Configured the Vonage adaptor to establish PPPoE link using my AirTel BB credentials. However, the Vonage Adapter is not able to establish the PPPoE link. I get an error code 008, indicating that DSL users should verify their user-name/password. The login/password is correct. I tried intentionally providing incorrect user-name/password - the error code is the same. Anyone had similar experience or knows how to get around this? Thanks much and wish you all a Very Very Happy and Prosperous New Year! vpshobha |

Rep Power: 0 | Hi superprash2003 - would you have the settings needed for configuring the Beetel 110bx1 to PPPoE, b.a.c? Thanks! The connectivity works with the original setup - in issues. While verifying the entire setup once again, I found that I had entered an incorrect password. Sorry for the trouble, and thanks a lot for taking time out to help!
