Is airtel goin to change the rates and speeds of the unlimted plans in newyear(2009).
i.e, is it goin to decrease the rates or increase the speeds...
like there is a news that bsnl broadband is going to increase 256kbps to 512kbps in its 750UL plan. what about airtel 799UL plan of 256kbps...

dude hope for the best.....i do think the competition shud get more murkier n cheap........

Look. Last year also there were massive rumours (good ones) that BSNL is going to introduce this plan and that plan, etc. Ultimately nothing much happened except that rates of UL900 went down to 750 and plan name was changed to UL750. The only major introduction was UL1350 @ 512 kbps )not considering inconsequential plans like Home 125).

We all are users here and it is useless to speculate. When things happen, all will know. I know the heart wishes a lot of things but that is why God meant to keep the head above the heart.

Good News Airtel has introduced Home649 Plan 1 pulse = Re1 , 256kbps UL and 100 Rs. Local Calls and STD 60 seconds Pulse.. I got it changed today from my previous plan of Home 799 (256 kbps UL , No free calls, STD 30 seconds Pulse, 1 Pulse= Rs1.1)

Airtel is matching Mtnl's 600 for 256kbps UL.

hey pisces_m, i've taken look in airtel website.. in that there are no changes as yet... how come you changed it... even my plan is 799UL(256kbps).

go an check Airtel.in and check broadband tarrifs for delhi circle. At last Home 649 plan is available check that out 256kbps UL. I called up airtel customer care at 121 and got my plan changed to 799. ANd right now my plan is Home 649UL from yesterday.

The simplest way to know is call 121 and ask them about new UL plans and they will let you know. Airtel at right now is advertising about this plan. I got to know from airtel centre in my area when i went there to get my airtel mobile sim replaced.

for me i am happy with my Home 999+ and getting speeds about 60 KB/s which means 480Kbps and sometimes even more so i am satisfied
