    Default Airtel Websites Not Working

    I have using Airtel broadband 384kbps for the past 5 months... From the begining i'm not able to browse airtel websites like airtel.in ,airtelbroadband.in But i'm able to browse all other sites. I have tried various browsers. but nothing worked. I'm using D-Link adsl 502-t modem... I using as dial-up connection...Plz help me to rectify this problem.

    Havent u tried contacting the CC? What was their take on the matter? Did u try the sites after switching to other DNS providers like OpenDNS?

    i'm currently using opendns, but i have tried the cc.....

    these are the IP4 settings in my pc for airtel

    192.168.1.2
    255.255.255.0
    192.168.1.1

    Dns Server 203.145.184.42
    Alt Dns Server 203.145.184.32

    and i'm using opendns
    208.67.222.222
    208.67.220.220

    Have u entered the OpenDNS IP address in the DNS Server and Alternate DNS Server tabs? If not, please enter it over there.

    Are u able to ping to these sites? Try typing in the IP address of the URLs in the browser window and see if it opens up.

    Which is the browser you are using ?
    if IF IE check blocked sites in security zones.
    or try Firefox 3.0.5 with add on IETab and IElite
    to switch to IE when needed.

    Test your broadband by other router. May be some problem in your router or try your router at any other place where airtel BB is working or any othr BB is working. firstly you try this i think...

    I dont think his router is not functioning properly. He is not facing any connectivity issues. He is plainly not able to open up certain websites in Airtel's domain.

    Maybe the thread starter can try changing the router but i had think it would bring any difference.

    i am saying to just try it. if you have to come out of this problem. rest of in your hands...
