Hey everyone please help me...

I have airtel broadband connection and i want to configure my router for static ip address ......

I want to change and configure these following:


Obtain an IP address automatically
Use the following IP address:
WAN IPv4 Address:
WAN Subnet Mask:

Obtain default gateway automatically
Use the following default gateway:
Use IPv4 Address:
Use WAN Interface:

Obtain DNS server addresses automatically
Use the following DNS server addresses:
Primary DNS server:
Secondary DNS server:


please help me how to configure all these and also if i am wrong for configure please help me step by step pleaseeeeee

Always mention your modem/router model and make.
Probably 220BX or 110BX1.

Click 'archives" at bottom of this page
and see old threads for your modem
if you need more details re PF etc.


You need a "static"Ip address for probably PortForwarding/or torrents download.
Go to www.portforward.com and select your modem.

2.Start Network LAN properties
in new page click TCP/IP
properties.
In new page
Obtain IP address automatically
Obtain DnS automatically
Apply Save.

Or if you want to enter these
IP address 192.168.1. X ( X= 3 to 254)
Subnet mask; 255.255.255.0
Default gateway 192.168.1.1

DNS as provided to you or opendns.
208.67.220.220 and 208.67.222.222

4. START RUN
TYPE cmd type ipconfig /all
check and post your entries here.
