I feel airtel is the only quality service provider in india........where its networks are consistent......without any disconnections

    This is ridiculous.
May be they want to divert bandwidth for IPTV and dump the existing broadband customers.

    Some info I have -
Plan 384 kbps - UL - Limit 25GB (per month ) after which speed reduces to 256 kbps.

Worst part is the customers are not infomred about this "Fair usage Policy" before it gets into effect.

At the customer care side the rep can view a pop-up for the accounts which fall under this policy.
Yes. I have heard of this policy as well. Its loot in broad daylight and it should be stopped. Unlimited Plans should not come with hidden clauses!

if you think that airtel is looting, reliance and tata indicom have followed in an even worse manner, they both have 10GB caps on unlimited plans for broadband netconnect+ and photon respectively. When i called up to ask they said that the plan means unlimited use upto 10GB, when asked why they have it in such a way by advertising as unlimited and giving 10gb they said fair usage policy. So i said fair usage up my ass this is totally unfair after which they were left speechless and kept repeating what tata photon was which pissed me off. I wrote to TRAI about this and they replied saying that you should get in touch with your areas nodal officer, havent yet sent a message but i hope you do. check it out over at url=trai.gov.in/serviceproviderslist.asp
