India is still developing as far as broadband is concerned. In here corporations and money rule the roost. They decide what we have to enjoy while in US consumers decide. Airtel's latest offering - Fair Usage Policy is a perfect example of it.

Mobiles got too popular unlike the Internet .the price which we pay for their quality is INSANE...forums/blogs must create awareness. or atleast the media.. its time to make India.. a Consumer's paradise.. not the seller's paradise.. cuz here the population is too high.. so things should be in our hand. !!

i think its only going to get worse!!ISP's are just trying to take advantage of the current situation wherein there is so much development in technology in india.. computers are becoming cheap , phones having wifi, laptops becoming cheaper , internet services becoming more useful, phone bills, electricity bills, movie tickets, flight, train tickets etc everything is on the net.everybody wants to use it.. and many people in india are new to the term broadband , not many understand USAGE LIMIT.. they only see the price 125rs per month..its only later they realize terms like download limit, upload limit ( and torrents ) etc..
