Default Another dastardly deed by Airtel

Since afternoon today, i have been noticing that sometimes when i open new websites and login there (such as the IBB forum itself), i am redirected to an airtel digitalTV (IPTV) advertisement page!! There is a link on the top which reads "Click here to continue to ......"

I mean damnit what has Airtel come down to!!!?? Don't they know anything about how users will respond to their despicable acts?!
High time these a-holes realize what they are up to.

I could not take any screenshot of the page yet, as i was confused. Are any of you encountering the same issue?? Please do post a shot if you come across such a page. :001_9898:

UPDATE: captured the ad below when trying to view the subscriptions page here on IBB. Is it part of some ad campaign by admin? But i doubt this since it came up on a google image search result too.

    Exactly what I thought.
I have heard from some techie that the DNS server can be configured to super-impose Adverts/ redirect to advert site when someone tries to connect specific sites.

they haven't blocked them permanently, just there are some times when the servers are not accessible. so for these times i have airtel dns servers in my dns servers list, listed after two of open dns servers in the internet connection properties.

Don't worry. That is enough. With a new technology 'Centriopideal Picture Decoding' that I have developed, I was able to clear all your clearances...

Have you tried contacting the CC ?

Can it be a result of spyware sitting in your machine. Showing up of ads randomly like this is not a good practice and if its happening to a lot of people it would have come out by now. Did you check with anyone nearby your area with airtel connection ?
