Thread: Port forwarding issue in Beetel - 110BX1 modem

I have an Airtel connection with 256 kbps unlimited plan . The modem which is provided with the connection is Beetel - 110BX1 .

I configured a static ip with the help of portforward.com .

I use Bitcomet for torrent downloads. I had to configure the modem for port forwarding.
I followed portfording.com's method to enter Static IP and Port information in the beetel modem.
portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/Beetel/220BX1/BitComet.htm

But when I switch off the modem that entry where I entered the Static Ip and Port information in the modem configuration page vanishes. I need to again add it to open the port.

Can anyone explain me how to get rid of this ? Why doesnt the info stays in the modem permanently?

are you connected via USB?? i had a similar problem when connected via usb!!

No, mine is not through USB ,
its through the ethernet card.

After entries are made in PF page
click management and select SAVE REBOOT>
Wait for two minutes.
