Default Can i connect more than one PC using Airtel Broadband???

    Hi All,

I am right now in tokyo. I will be coming back to india. I am habituated with high speeds upto 50 Mbps here and unlimited download limit.

I would like to go for Home 2222 Plus or Home 1499 Plus plan. I am from Hyderabad. I checked a condition in the bottom of that page

"*Applicable only for Residential Customers using Single PC. "

Does it mean that i cannot use multiple PC's to share the internet. I heard that internet sharing is possible.

Please give me some info on this. I have 2 Laptops and one desktop and would like to have internet on all at a time.

One more question? Can i ask them not to give me router and i purchase my self?

    Thanks in advance.

yes you can connect all 3 at a a time but the only condition they say is the connection should not be used for any commercial purpose....
you can share the internet connection ....

about router purchase i am not sure about Airtel but BSNL surely allows it.... just wait for some Airtel users to see your post they will able to reply to that router issue...

Airtel supplies modem/router free of cost.
    No rental/s.
to be returned when BB service disconnected.

A Non refundable Security Deposit is taken when you get the connection.
See bottom of the tariff plan page/s

    @kirankumargb, Thanks for the info.

    Thank you very much.

I would like to know whether i can opt out Airtel's modem/router and purchase my own wifi router (to connect 1 Desktop and 2 Laptops)

    Is that allowed?

I am asking this question because, the customer support lady is not giving much info. She says you would know when the technical person comes to the house.
