Thread: Huawei wa10003a on airtel pune

hi guys, got a airtel connect 256 unlimited today with the beetel 110bxi , i have the earlier huwawei wa1003a i want to use it wih this connection can any one tell me the settings for

1. wireless
2.multiuser
3. security
i tried a few things for the forum but isnt working.

also the stupid airtelnet expert keeps poping up, give me step wise info.

1.Quidway WA-1003A ADSL MODEM MENU

2.http://mydataone.net/router/wa1003a.html

http://dataone.in/en/wifi/Huawei_WA1003A.ppt

3.WA1003A itself can be used for AirtelBB.
4.Use VPI/VCI 1 and 32 for airtel
5.DNS use Airtel DNS or open dns 208.67.220.220
and 208.67.222.222
Rest as usual.

Para two :
In your Beetel110BX1 under maintenance
uncheck tr_069 client (and may be snmp also)
to avoid netexpert. ( I have not tried in my unit )
feedback.
Keep other settings for checking connectivity.

Para three : Airtel will/may give you WIFI 450BX or BX1
if you say you are using a laptop and need one.
Check with CC. ( No rent : Not sold )

where do i put these settings the 192.168.1.1 dosent open with the admin admin user name and pwd from beetel?

should i change the settings of beetle first and they connest wa1003a

For beetel default.
UserID : admin password : password.

Wa1003A can be used without Beetel110BX1.
