Thread: Halp me!!! Damn airtel online gaming!

i got 384 unlimited plan on airtel few days ago! i play cod4 online....first of all one of my friend has airtel 256 unlimted in chennai , he gets 90 ping in malaysian server! i get in da same server 175! that is da first prob....but i use wi-fi so dunno if it affects..anyway for da past few days my ping in same server has gone upt 300+ i cant even fking play anymore...I THOUGHT AIRTEL WAS GOOD FOR GAMING! WTH IS DIS??!!!?? im very unhappy.....can any1 help me!!! PLZZZ!!!

is this an ip address or a hostname?

Again, its not a problem just with Airtel!

If you ask me, no ISP in India can facilitate Online Gaming. dont know why, but none of them have really been attentive to this need!

sir if you are not aware then please spend some time in online research work, interleaving is ON by default on reliance too. I am not sure why you are such a big fan of reliance that i can not see even a single post of yours when you are not talking about reliance.

no improvemnts for this yet...(competitive)online gaming in india is impossible...i should have born in US or some south korea... besides, every isp sucks with online gaming...

just updating this thread so that anyone searching can pick this up quickly...

That aint true at all.
Did you check each and every ISP in India?
All of them are not as worst as you have mentioned in your statement.

Sir, tell me one ISP which has ping below 250ms to any US servers.

Another stuff is that, there no direct fibre link to US from India which makes the routing slower.

All I had to say that it is incorrect to mention all ISPs in India suck in online gaming just because they dont give you pings below 250ms.
