Default Hi All (Port forwarding with 2 routers)

    Hi All,

I am new to this forum, actually this is the first forum I have ever joined. I liked the kind of stuff that is discussed here & I think you guys will be able to help me out.

Query 1: I have an Airtel 512Kbps connection with a 5GB limit & free downloads from 10pm -8am. I have a netgear wi-fi router of my own & the beetel router provided by airtel. I use Bittorent to run my downloads. When I connect my laptop to the beetel router through the ethernet wire directly the port checker in bittorent shows a page that says the port is open. When I connect through my wi-fi the bittorent client shows a green icon but if I check if the port is open it says no. I think it will explain my configuration if you see the attached file. This is the guide I found on the portforward website. The only issue is I cant figure out the internal & external ip for R1 & R2. I think this the way I need to open the port. Please guide me if I am wrong.

Query 2:Which client is better - urorrent or bittorent?

    Regards,
    Mandaar

    Your problem solved ?
Why you complicated the matter posting a Word
Document as a zip file ?
Normally zip files are suspect .
And it was a saved copy of Portforward.com's web page !

Go throught the Forum "Broadband How to ....."
and search details about Port forwarding. for your adsl modem.

    or
try again in Portforward.com. select from menu "routers."
