Thread: Using Airtel WIFI on Nokia N78

Hi can anyone please tell me how to use Airtel Wifi or rather connect it to Nokia N78!!

Airtel wifi: please give details. land line Modem/router/make model , datacard etc.

N78 can access unsecured internet Wireless access points.
do you get a list of available wireless network/s ?

it's landline modem : Beetel 220BX!!!!!

I haven't used a Nokia N78. But Check if they can access Secured Wireless Access Points through SSID (if you have it secured)

check the settings for the Wifi in you cellphone, check if there is any option of automatically detecting and connecting to available Wifi Access Points.
That should do the job for you...

call Airtel CC and say you need a wifi modem/wifi router
to use your laptop./N78.
They will ask another Rs 500/= as non refundable deposit and replace the 220BX.( probably Beetel450BX)

Ask the CC support engineer to set it up for WIFI.
( note down the security key used )

its a wi fi modem!! whenever i try to use internet on my phone i get the error web:no gateway reply!!
