Question Not able to sign in to Yahoo Messenger

Airtel broadband had shut down for 3 hours on 25th April 09 due to a technical snag in the entire city of Mumbai (as informed by their customer care). After it came online i have been unable to sign in to yahoo messenger. Is anybody else facing the same problem in Mumbai.

I assumed the problem was with my messenger so i uninstalled it. When i tried to reinstall, it wouldn't connect to the server. Thats when i thought that maybe Airtel is not allowing the connection to Y! Msngr server. Is this possible?
Pls comment and suggest a solution. (Now i am left with no Y! msngr on my pc, coz couldn't install it)
