    Default Airtel Unstable Link

    Hi guys,

I have two modems - WA1003A and DSL 2640T. I also have two broadband connections - BSNL and AIrtel. When I confirgure the DSL 2640T for airtel, the ADSL link drops every 3 seconds after it is connected and starts dialing again. However, on the WA1003A, the link is stable and working without problem for 30 mins (and going....). I would like to have the DSL 2640T modem for the airtel connection.

    The settings -

    VPI: 1
    VCI: 32
    ADSL2+

There is no problem with the modem itself as the BSNL BB is working on that and there are no dropped lines.

I would appreciate it if someone could help me out on this. Thanks a lot.

i think you've answered your own question .. you want to configure airtel in DSL 2640T and you've mentioned VPI/VCI , so you just need to login to the DSL modem and create a new VPI/VCI in your WAN Page and enter username/password there
