    Default Torrent speed

    I m using airtel 256 kbps plan
    my download speed is 30-35. but when i m dowloading torrent the download speed is 5-10 kbps.The seed of the torrent is 150

    plz help

    Your ports are probably not forwarded. Check that out. There are many articles/threads on this subject on the web as well in this forum itself.

    my plan is 256kbps ul
    my torrent speed is 30-35.. when no. of seed & peers r gud.
    port fwding OK.
    beetel 110bxi adsl2+router
    plz tell me is that the max speed i will get in torrent...???
    is there anything i can do so that torrent speed will increase ??

    the speed you are getting is near perfect. You simply can't get more than that on your connection unless you upgrade your BB package.

    256 kbps = 256/8 = 32 KBps which is the maximum for your connection. I too use a UL 256 kbps connection. Speed you get is more than good. I struggle to maintain to + 30 KBps continuously.

    He is getting good speed while standard downloads but low speeds in torrents.

    As I said, in my earlier posts, probably ports are not forwarded. But it could also be for the fact that the torrent you are trying to download does not have sufficient seeds.

    Use Firewall ,I also had the same problem..
