Thread: you tube video breaks every one or two second for buffering

isp airtel
broad band 256 kbps
plan Rs. 799/per month unlimited

problem faced for the past one month is when watching you tube video it stops every now and than for buffering this was not there earlier
speed test indicates (du meter) fluctuation of 256 to 168 during you tube video
airtel sent their tchnician after several request
technician said 30 percent drop is normal.(they dont seem to be aware of fluctuation.)
they dont try understand and rectify the problem
i suspected and requested to check, recent new connections nearer to my house,from theunder ground cable, as it might have been over loaded, or there may be lose of signal due to improper method of taping for connections. but this was not attended to by theassociates of airtel company.please advice
i am using this connection for the past two year i had no such problem in skype oraudio and video sreaming ,buffering. it was a seamless fast one.

With a 256 kbps connection, the video will dither. Also, Airtel has implemented the FUP. If you have exceeded the prescibed limits, then your speed must have halved. This may be the possible reason.

I suggest that you use Firefox with FlashGot add-in.
