Default Help with port forwarding on Huawei modem

Hi..i have a Huawei SmartAX MT 880 dsl modem..now to maximize my p2p experience i wanted to forward ports to it. I have all firewalls disabled(including the modem firewall).

Now i loggeded into the modem via 192.168.1.1

My ip is dynamic and i cant make it static.

plz can anybody tell me how do i forward ports to the modem having dynamic ip.

The Airtel guys have told me that they havnt blocked any ports from their side but utorrent gives an error on any port i try to test. I am able to download torrents though.

I have a 256kbps plan..4 month old connection..portforward.com's screenshots are quite different from mine..like there is no option 'redirect'..i couldnt post my screenshots here as i guess min 15 posts are required for that..

It is referring to static LAN IP. It is for WAN IP that Airtel charge a fee. LAN IP is also called internal IP. You can modify the LAN IP easily.

    made the ip static..
..but now..the portforward guide tells me to click on 'redirect' in NAT option. But i dont have such an option. I only have DMZ and virtual server options.
    What to do now??
    help..help..

infact the portforward screenshots are for 882..(mentioned in 880)!!

    Done!!

For all those that have Huawei 880..check the settings for 880v4..

    Thanks mate..u helped a lot..cheers
