these tarrifs look a lot better than bsnl dataone
i opted for the 256kbps 1gb/month plan
and with a 50rupees/month topup i get unlimited usage from 9pm to 8am
so the total cost is 550/month and they r offering the modem and fone for free
i just now paid a registration fee of 500rupees and i will go broadband from monday!!

welcome to the world of broadband.Do post your experiences with airtel so every one else knows what thier service is like
Thia topic has had so many views but no replies. So here is my opinion:
Airtel provides reliable services but it costlier than BSNL. Airtel also provides connection much faster than BSNL provided that they have infrastructure in the area. Of late, there have been some complaints about Airtel providing more connections than they can service satifactorily (some areas in some cities only). This has caused speed drops as well as connection drops.

What is the difference
Is this the same broadband which airtel offers and keeps saying no ports available or is it some kind of wireless broad band?
airtel has higher costs very very high
and lower lower speeds
almost like dial up 64 kbps
max is 256 kbps where as others are offering upto 2 mbps
it has 2mbps but like pay and use no free stuff
wat is the point better going to a cybercafe for downloading in free hours
