    Exclamation

    thank you very much but i have a problem if i do that i cannot acces the server.and some infos i found

    those computers which are connected to the switch-1 are getting connected (i used a laptop to check this)
    but if i connect the same laptop to the switch-2 it does not get connected.
    i had set manually the ips
    ip=192 168 1 102
    subnetmask = 255 255 255 0
    default gateway 192 168 1 1

    dns server 192 168 1 1

    ONE MORE PC-1 AND PC-2 GETS CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET SINCE IT IS ON THE SAME SWITCH(ie switch-1) that is where the modem is also connected

    the PC-3,PC-4 is connected to switch-2 and the switch-2 is connected to switch-1

    the modem is connected to the switch-1 directly.

    in this way i can connect my server and INTERNET
    IF ANY OTHER SETTING

    MEANS IT DOES NOT CONNECT TO SERVER

    IF YOU COULD TELL ME ANY METHODS WHERE I CAN ACCESS MY NET AS WELL AS MY SERVER (MY SEVER IS WINDOWS 2003) IN THIS WIRED CONFIG PLSEASE HELP
