Default Has anyone used 799 plan (1mBPS/8 gb LIMIT) in hyderabad

Airtel has come up with 799 a month plan with 1 Mbps speed and 8 GB d/l limit.
Sounds to me very promising. Is this available in other states as well?
Anyone with experience on 1 Mbps plans from airtel?

from what angle you find it promising?
If you ask me, i would say it's just a crap. 8 gb upper cap is nothing when your d/l speed is 1 mbps.

I was just comparing it with the available options in the market....price vs the offer (It may suit someone who does not download movies but watches youtube for example)
As far as i understand in most places ISPs are imposing fair usage policies on high speed broadband (Most of the cases the upper cap is 15GB on speeds of 2Mbps and they come at a price of around 1.5K a month) so knowing the world where i am living i found it promising.
tell me if you know of other plans at comparable prices.

same 1MbPS from Reliance Broadband (wired) cost Rs 2000 which is pure unlimited, download 24X7 without any "catch" no download caps no fair usage at all!!, i used this plan for 10 days(in reliance u will be charged at pro rata basis and also switch to any plan u like!!) so i paid 670 for 10 days use and downloaded 80GB and Uploaded 87 GB after that switched to normal 300kbps bandwidth!!

799 bucks does not equal 2000 bucks.

Not every one requires unlimited connection.

    .

you have...but are you sure the person concerned wants to d/l so much?

Don't try to impose your value judgements on others.

nobody opts for 1MbPS UL or more just to read mail or normal web surf, simply these plans are needed for full throttle downloads without any worry or fear of over billing like u have in BSNL on 2-8 am Slot and risk of leaving ur pc on all night.

I think the topic starter clearly stated that he found something "promising" about 1mbps 8gb connection. I don't know who started this unlimited debate. It certainly wasn't me.
