Thread: More Explore 1099 Problems

I called up CC today and they say that Explore 1099 has been discontinued. And, also the other plan which looked interesting was also changed - Turbo 1299. Its 512Kbps and no 1Mbps speed at night.

So, what am I to do now? Change to a new plan(from my existing 256Kbps UL) or wait for more time?

And, I live I Bangalore.

Call the CC again and confirm! I guess you have been provided wrong info. Both the plans are mentioned in the website for your region. So there are very less chances that they are discontinued! If he says that it is discontinued then ask him why it is mentioned on website and send a mail via website!

Finally, I'm migrating. This time, the confused CC Executive took his time and finally told me that the plan is available. He explained details about the plan, except of course the Fair Usage part. Upon asking him again, he took more time and told that the limit is 75GB and speed gets reduced to 256Kbps if the threshold is exceed and that night speeds/speeds on Sunday don't vary. Nothing about 1Mbps getting reduced to 512Kbps after 100GB. But, even then it will be a good deal.
