    Default FUP Questions.

I read the FUP PDF and it says see tariff for plan-wise applications. But in most plans, like 1Mbps unlimited, there is no speed change mentioned. I remember seeing a long time ago 512Kbps(till xGB) , 256Kbps afterward. If this is not mentioned in plans like Freedom 1699 and Explorer 1099, does is mean that there is no FUP on these plans?

The FUP for the Freedom 1699 plan is 100GB, beyond which the speed will be reduced to 512 kbps. The Explorer 1099 plan has been discontinued- according to CC in Bangalore because customers were not getting 1 mbps at night - which I believe is BS...

Download+Upload, i.e. total traffic including overheads. So the TCP headers are also counted as well as the sync signals that the modem sends out from time to time...

FUP is applicable on unlimited plans with speeds 384 kbps and above.

FUP is not applicable on 256 kbps plans because as per TRAI guideline, the speed of the Broadband plan cannot be less than that.

100 GB means upload + download
    like
in a month if you download 60GB and upload 30GB then your total consumed bandwidth comes to 90
    and if
you download 80GB and upload the same 30GB then it makes 110GB which is exceeding this 100GB limit.
