Angry Airtel Turbo 1299 or 1399 ? Low Speed. Please help

    Hi,
    I am from Chhattisgarh
I have just activated Airtel Broadband Turbo 1399 Plan. They told me this plan is Turbo 1399. However after sometime I noticed that There is only Turbo 1299 not 1399. But in their activation email they mentioned Turbo 1399.
    I am confused. Please help.
One more thing. Turbo plans promises for 512 kbps speed in day
and 1 MBPS speed in night (10PM to 6AM)

Speed never exceeds from 493kbps. before this plan I was having
1249 Unlimited Plan which was giving me 256kbps speed and free voice calls of Rs 300. But at that time sometime I got speed up to 270+ and speed never went below 240kbps.
But with current plan I generally get speed of 492-493kbps in both day and night(however they promiced 1mbps at night). It remains normally constant. Is it normal or something wrong with my connection.

    Look at my screenshots.

I complained about this the last date for resolution was 1 August. and today(6th Aug) one person from Airtel office called me he told me he will come at night to check speed, this is 11.22 PM and nobody came yet.

No one, I repeat , No one will come to your home after 7pm to fix a broadband problem
I suggest you call up CC and have them raise another ticket to check plan speed set by the NOC team , mention that you are getting less than 50% speed at night .
Also have them re-conform what plan they have activated for you (I never heard of the Turbo 1399 plan either ).

As regards your daytime speed ~490 kbps is about normal for a 512 kbps connection. Once you add the TCP overheads the speed that you are getting is around 500-505 kbps which is normal.

    Default thanks

    THANKS jakemake123456.

I contacted customer care. They told me both 1299 and 1399 turbo plans are same. The difference is 1399 plan is old and 1299 is new.

I couldn't understood why they activated 1399 plan instead of 1299?

Today I went to the local office of Airtel. They told me that I know more than them about this plan. She even didn't heard about Turbo plans. She was thinking I am talking about 1299 Freedom instead of 1299 Turbo.

She said someone will come to check my connection.

However she has filled the form for 1299 Turbo activation and told plan will be activated within 3 days.
