    i did as u said ,, it works for one day and next day itself it is not working...
    can u tell me ,,, what i need to do?
    1.
    If you are on Dialer Mode ( "Bridged" wan miniport )
    when you enter your userId and PW externally ( of modem )
    change over to "Always On" PPP/PPPoE and in WAN page
    enter your USERID and password etc and test again.
    2.
    You can also call Airtel CC for replacement/check of your modem.
    3.
    RE post ADSL data when it works. and if any improvement noticed.



    4.

    i heard that some software is there to reboot my modem at specific time,,,, can u tell me where to download that software?

    Hi to all.
    Im new to Airtel Broadband.
    yesterday i received call and sms from airtel that ur first mnth bill is 732 rs , but my plan is 1099 (384 @ day and 1 mb @ night) .
    i paid 500 for installation charges @ frst.
    Connection is taken under my brothers company id (Dolite).
    wht is the reason?

    was the modem owned by you or rented from airtel?
    i own my modem. and i still got this problem. the line has been checked by airel and there is no fault in it.

    If the modem is Beetel model supplied by Airtel,
    Call CC and send email to care.tamilnadu@airtel.in
    ( change to your state for Tamilnadu) and ask for replacement.
    if not mention model/company/make.

    and i still got this problem

    In a thread of 30 posts, you could have spelled out your
    problem.
    Mostly thread title and queries by different users in a thread
    do not match.

    modem is owned by me. not rented. its dlink glb502t. i dont know if its frequent. i start some downloads and go to bed. in the morning i notice that the downloads had stopped between 12.00-1.00. it stops mostly within this hour as if airtel is running some task scheduler do it. if I restart the modem, then downloads resume. I also notice that sometimes the ADSL LED of modem is off. and sometimes the LAN LED is off.

    Imran's utility is not working too.


    @krishnasir : did u have the same problem which u have resolved by replacing the router? pls reply.

    downloads had stopped between 12.00-1.00. it stops mostly.......
    1/. Mention the D/L manager details
    2. Any log or timer used or special instructions given in D/L manager?

    3..Post screen shot of Router Internet connection
    status as annexure Jpg picture.
    4. Check in Router Tools/maintenance menu any
    menu option like Client TR_069 enabled ?
    5. What is the lease time shown when ipconfig /all
    is entered in command ?
    6. Check the modem/router log also.
    7. Use OPendns 208.67.220.220 and 208.67.222.222

    Do u use USB or Ethernet. use Ethernet. in USB there May be problem of disconnection
