    Default beetel 110bx1 + linksys WRH54G

    i need to hook up my airtel beetel 110bx1 dsl modem with a linksys router , what are the changes that i should do for this ? my modem is currently in always on mode . is it enough if just plug the out from the modem into the router ? please help !

    no , some changes need to be made , you could check out this guide , the steps are similar Prashanth Speaks-Technology and Life: How To Connect DSL ISP modem with Wireless Router - Connect UT300R2U with Linksys WRT54G .. if you have problems , post back

    hi superprash...ive got the same setup...i have connected the linksys with the beetel & the net works great...but now somehow portforward doesnt work...ive done all to open the port...but Utorrent still detects it as closed..ny ideas ??

    ive been through that....anyway i've got it fixed...the dlink needs to be in bridge mode and the linksys in PPPoE...anything else...ports will not open
