Thumbs down Airtel Games on Demand is not working

Please DO NOT subscribe to the Games on Demand service from Airtel. If you want to subscribe to this service - read my post below:

I have a 1299 plan with Airtel, which offers Games on Demand as part of the package.

On the 26th of this month (August) I received an email that stated that my Games on demand password and my Airtel self care password were being combined for "security reasons". I have not been able to log in to my Games on Demand account after that.

Till the 26th of August, my account was working fine, but after the changes, it does not let me log in. When I try to log in - it gives me an error and tells me that I do not have a DSL no!!!!

The Games on Demand application has also stopped working. The help feature takes me to the old side. The log in feature on the old site is not working at all - it just shows a "Page cannot be displayed" error.

I contacted Airtel customer care, but they keep telling me that they can't help me, since this has to be solved by the India Games team. I called them twice and each time they assured me that the problem would be solved the very next day. They gave me 2 reference numbers - 23600086 and 23644976. But nothing has been done till now.

The last time I called Airtel customer care, I was told that they cannot help me and that the Indiagames team would help me. But when I contacted the Games on Demand team, they sent me an email and asked me to call the Airtel Customer Care number.

Today I received 2 calls from Games on Demand. On the first call they told me again that they cannot help me and I should contact Airtel CC. On the second call they told me that they will fix it before this evening!!

After this I got a call from Airtel engineer who had visited my home (I was in office) - who again informed me that he could do nothing and I should contact Games on Demand!!!

So if you want to sign up for the Games on demand service from Airtel - you should be prepared to face a lot of problems. None of the CC agents have a clue how to solve the problem.

How can a company like Airtel be so unprofessional? The CC agents do not have even the basic information.

Angry Airtel GoD service is totally useless

After several days and after talking to the CC guys from both Airtel and Indiagames, the problem is still not resolved.

I even wrote to the nodal officer - but I just got a computer generated reply and there was not action taken. The nodal officer does not even care to reply to the emails. The problem is still not resolved.

I got a few phone calls from the Airtel guys and each time they call me they tell me to talk to the Indiagames team. The Indiagames team tells me to talk to the Airtel team.

This is the most disappointing display of unprofessional behavior I've ever seen. Noone seems to know what's going on and noone seems to care.

DO NOT ever sign up for Airtel broadband "value-added" services - you will get no value and no service.

Thumbs down Airtel Games On Demand

Games On Demand dose not work , simple as that. First let them give support on demand.....
When ever I click on a game to play it is asking me to download the player , which I have done 4 times..... No help from Airtel , only reply Call Games On Demand , but the CC guy dose not know the phone no , only a support forum address , which i have filled 3 time and no reply for the past 24hrs.
