I would like to know when Airtel will be able to provide Broadband services to whole of Bangalore. I am from Bangalore and I have tried to get a connection for almost 12 months now. The answer is its not feasible.

First I got a connection from Atria - bad experience 50% down time
Then from VSNL - Always fluctuating, unable to work on www or even msn messenger get connected and dicsonnected every 2 to 3 minutes .

I have a suggestion if you are after an airtel connection
speak to local residents in your area and find out who else wants an airtel connection and if you can gather atleast 10-15 people who want a connection get them to sign an application and send it to some higher official and it should do the trick
Its just that they need to make sure there will be enough subcribers in a given area before they invest.
dont you have any other isp's in your area?
may be use sify or something else for the time being. and may be stick to sify if they are ok coz with sify it all depends on your cable operator if he is a good techie you will never have any consumer complaints.

I have not checked about SIFY. Hathway does not provide services in our area

bhai i am also from bangalore... can u tell me which place are u staying so i can see if any of my friends recide there and know which connection will be the best for u....

why dont you go for Tata Indicomm connection.. they dont need any landline
+ there service delivery area is entire bangalore

Tata is the biggest competator of Airtel. I'm sure if you tell them what you expect from them by tellin ghtme about your past experience they will pget all the facts straight. They do have the coverage of entire Banglore so you need not worry about that.
