Rep Power: 7 | 2 weeks, that's a long time! What reasons did they give to take so long? |

Rep Power: 0 | It took more than a month for me. But I understand the reasoning behind the delay. I live in a dead end street and Airtel although popular in my area never set up the boxes on my lane because it didnt seem like a good investment to them. When I finally managed to convince them to give me a connection, it took them all sort of time to dig up the road etc. It was then stalled because the cost of setting up the line was too expensive for them. Lucky for me, 2 other people from my lane wanted the connection and they finally relented. In othercases where they already have the infrastructure in place, I would assume it shouldnt take them much time. |

| Platinum Member | So did you opt out? Two weeks is nothing when compared to BSNL. But don't get me wrong here. Some people got BSNL connection within 48 hours. Finally connection depends upon whether the infrastructure is setup in the area. |

Rep Power: 1 | yeah.. in terms of activation, the support personel takes a lot of time but that is understandably due to the increasing demand i guess |
