Hi All,

I am trying to link up my OFFICE and home over internet. The trouble is that I am not a great networking person so I don't know how to go about it.

I have a OFFICE which has Airtel Broadband connection and also has a NETGER router with 4 computers. The same is the case with Home Network.

Now what I want is to MAP network drives from one comp to another in OFFICE to HOME. Is this possible via VPN over dynamic IPs.

If VPN is possible then please let me know how to configure it in WIN XP PRO as all the computers are using PRO. I have tried setting up VPN on XP pro using DYNDNS.org but was not able to connect to the computers.

Please let me know of any solution available.

why dont you download TeamViewer or LogMeIn.

I have used TeamViewer. What you need to do is install it at both the ends. While you install, Select PERSONAL USE.
Now I assume you want to use office PC from your home. so what you need to do is start TeamViewer @ office. this screen gets an UID and PWD automatically.

GO home and start TeamViewer and you have an option to put that UID and PWD. And Voila!!! you see you office screen from your home PC.

The only thing you need is always on internet connection in your office. thats it.
