Thread: Have anybody took wifi in airtel

I thought of having wifi from airtel but the support personnel over here in hyderabad took almost a month for various reasons and finally i cant wait any more. is that due to shortage of accessroies

What if you wanted to use more than one system at a time and how could you manage that, for that reason i do require wifi

thanks for the info but previously i used one but these airtel guys somehow did not connect it correctly. they did store MAC id of the modem and quite unwilling to change

incorrect.
I am using AIRTEL supplied modems for past two or three years
22oBx 220bX1 and now 110BX1 with Vonage router and
Netgear wgr614V6 Wifi router on WiFi mode for my laptop.
and for VOIP.
It could have saved some effort on my part if you had
mentioned about MAC address etc.

Hi i had taken the wifi at my apartment and it is not at all worth to got for it.

The range is worst then anything.instead go for some good wifi routers.

wifi somehow does not seems to be working where signal is quite is meduim to worse.

The range of the Airtel Beetel Wifi modem/router is quite poor. I suggest you get the normal ADSL modem from Airtel and invest in a Wifi router with good range. I'm running a Netgear Rangemax WNR3500 and it is awesome!

But i had the same problem twice and the service personnel not willing to change, its very hard on them

thats what even i wish to use a third one than the one supplied from airtel but they did not allow, which is quite harsh
