I too occasionally have the same problem..

It gets disconnected at random and then comes back after 2-3 mins.

I'm using Swift 1099 plan which gives 512 Kbps unlimited.

Please find a way to remedy this problem.

Even for me it keeps getting disconnected. Maybe since I never switch off my modem and always keep downloading something, Airtel is trying to limit usage. Will be very happy if issue is resolved.

    Your original problem
I too occasionally have the same problem..
It gets disconnected at random and then comes back after 2-3 mins.
I'm using Swift 1099 plan which gives 512 Kbps unlimited.
Please find a way to remedy this problem.
    Now
Are you connected to Internet and can surf the websites now

Where should i enter my password and id
If you are using a DIALER a window will appear in the computer. There you enter user Id and password.
If your connection is "Always On"
( Selected in WAN page PPPoE not "bridged")
the user ID and PW stored in the modem page.
When the system is switched on you get connected to Internet, if all settings are correct.

I just got this problem back again.

i just checked my modem, and at that time in status it said

Adsl Status : PPP Password INVALID

When it resumes back by itself, it says

    Adsl Status : Connected

This must be the problem, my Connection is "Always on" not dailer mode.

So how do i solve this from happening again?

1.Slight improvement noticed in SNR, but substantial.
    .................. Downstream..... Upstream
    SNR Margin : ........ .....11.9 ..........8.6db
    Line Attenuation :.........10.9 ..... ..8.1 db

    2.
About mod mode , i will post the exact screen shot later.
    3
    Adsl2 + gives unstable connection
If there is a box to uncheck this, in modem
    menu pages , try it.
    WARNING
Before trying (2) you have to save present settings.
4.Wait for sometime and give report tomorrow.
5.You have not given the distance from telephone Exchange.

    2) Wait, I found out the mod mode

    in advanced settings, ADSL

But after changing the Mod to G.lite

    i always got

    Adsl Status: ADSL CONNECTION FAILURE

After reverting back to auto sync-up , i got my connection back working..

    3) the mod mode is currently on "auto sync-up"

5)I dont know the distance between the telephone exchange.. do i really have to check that up physically ?
