Can you access the modem/router settings
and make a minor change ?
    If Yes
    open router settings
    See the menu on left
    Maintainence or Management
    Click tr_069 client
    Disable it.
SAVE Reboot. wait for 2 minutes.

That setting is for accessing your modem by AIRTEL remotely for service/update etc.
    Should be some improvement now.
    feedback.

    Default Frequent Disconnection

    Hi guys
i am using airtel broadband since 2009 january . i never had issues , but last month i thought of installing wireless router , i called airtel support , they installed wireless router "beetel 450 tc1 adsl2 + router " . and they checked how my internet is working for 5 mins , and then they said they should go for installation at another place and left . right after they left i started experiencing frequent disconnection in my internet connection , it happens every 2-7 mins .
so i should click local area connection icon in my system tray , then i should click support tab , and then i should repair button in that window , they my internet will work for another 2-7 mins , then i should repeat same process .
called up airtel , they sent their router technician team and they came did some changes with default router page and finally confirmed that issue is with my computer , is it true guys , is that issue with my computer .
not sure what i can do now .

2.I am using beetel 450bxi wifi router that keeps disconnecting
    for about 2 r 3 times a day.

    3...... send an service technician
and keeps changing my router everytime.
    4.
Whenever this problem starts the dsl(yellow) light starts
blinking and the internet gets disconnected.
Send an email to care.xx@airtel.in(where XX is tn or your State)
If you are registered for Selfcare,
make a complaint there , also.
Most likely the modem/router will be again replaced.

    For 4 above:
if you think you can try changes in modem/router
    settings.
    (A)IN Tools disable Tr_069 client.
    (B) in Access control page uncheck ADSL2+
(C)check WA3002-g4 for similar menu pages.

    (D) in computer
    START RUN type cmd OK
    new window
    type ipconfig /all
Copy/Paste Data here. ( NO edit)
    5.
Are you using a laptop in WIFI mode ?

    sorry. Screen shots mixed up.
TR-069 client may or may not be available as a menu item.
    See under Tools/maintainence/management.

    Presume SNR/Attn for download.

    Default solution

before when i had my initial issue like ip conflict detected , my first serviceman set ip range manually in local area connection , and i believe he set ip as static ip . but now this new serviceman , he said it should not be that way and he first assigned new ip address to my modem , and initially i had 2 ethernet cards in my computer , they told me to use my old ethernet card which i had dissabled in the past

    Post ipconfig /all
    present status.
The ethernet card will be active only, if you connect an Input via Rj45 cable !
    You can try both.
Modem Ip address is usually 192.168.1.1

    Max speed possible
    384Kbps divided by 8 = 48KB/sec
meaning 10 MB file may be <br>down loaded in approx 4 minutes.

Torrent downloads are not standard measurements for your Internet speed.
