    Default Internet keeps Reconnecting

    Hai
i am from chennai. I am having a problem with my network. I
am using sr224 linksys switch with airtel 110bx1 modem for 10 pc
network. The problem is the net keeps reconnecting whenever i switch a
few comps or more than 5 comps.

The connection setting is as follows

    Airtel 110bx1 --> SR224 --> 11 Pcs

All the pcs use static ip.(DHCP disabled)

My question is does this setup need a router or will the 110bx1 will be able to handle 10 pcs?

Why i am getting disconnecting problems after i switch on a few pcs

    Thankyou.

All the pcs use static ip.(DHCP disabled)
    Suggestion 1:
    In modem Beetel 10BX1
Enable DHCP in modem.Give range 192.168.1.3 to 192.168.1.15

    Suggestion 2:
    In all computers
    change in TCP/IP
    Obtain ip address automatically

What is your tariff plan ?

Changed DHCP still having those problems. Disconnection problems occur only in messengers and gaming clients like garena.

I am on airtel 1 mbps unlimited plan.

    Thank you.

    1.
    Check in 110BX1 under Management/Maintainence
    Tr_069 client is enabled.
Uncheck Save Reboot. wait for 2 minutes..
    2.
    If max speed is 1Mbps /8= 128KB/sec
    10 computers
if used each will have D/L of say 10 KB/sec.
Instead of a switch a hub can be tried.
    3.
Select tariff plan speed upto 2 Mbps.
Try Speed on Demand say for 30 minutes
from Airtel for testing. ( will be charged separately)
