Default Vulnerability in Server service could allow remote code execution

Microsoft has released security bulletin MS06-040. The security bulletin contains all the relevant information about the security update. This information includes file manifest information and deployment options.

My recommendation, dont install this patch, it can cause serveral other mix problems. has anyone experienced this.. any reports

Is this security update for any particular operating system ? I havent personally set my Win XP SP2 and Win 2k3 SP1 system on automatic updates as i am not sure about these patches(as you just mentioned). I would like to know what complications it arises and what according to you would microsoft is doing to resolve it.
