Default Beetel 450TC1 ADSL2+ Router dhcp problem

    hello all,

I have airtel broadband connection and I use Beetel 450TC1 ADSL2+ wireless Router to connect internet

I use wpa2 for authentication and dynamic dhcp is enabled to allocate ip address for client

I have configered client to automatically connect to the router and have access to inet

my problem is the client pc is getting dhcp address successfully for the first time (i.e after initial boot of system) but when I disconnet or it just gets disconneted It is not getting the valid dhcp address (i.e insted of getting 192.168.1.0/24 series its getting something like this 192.168.221.128 and default gatway ip as 192.168.221.2
Note : the client is getting successfully authenticated but not getting valid dhcp address, please help me to solve this issue

next thing I would like to ask is
Is it possible to create a lan with this router ( i mean is it possible for the clients of this router to communicate with each other )
    if "yes" how ?
I tried to ping other client but ping is unsuccessful

    any help will be useful
    thanks in advance

How many computers in use ?
    How many laptops ?
    WA3002-g1 ADSL MODEM (Type-II) MENU
    similar to your router.
Check the DHCP range entered in lan page.

    Post ipconfig /all one computer
    Desktop or laptop.

    For reference :http://www.maharashtra.bsnl.co.in/ssa/nashik/wa3002.htm

Yes thank you I Installed VMWARE which is running dhcp service in background even though I am not using it. Your question gave me idea to check my system services and there i found the vmware dhcp service set to automatic and in running state.

    One Question is solved.

    One more thing about lan

"Is it possible to create a lan with this router ( i mean is it possible for the clients of this router to communicate with each other )
    if "yes" how ?
    "

Because you used the word "client" , I
had to presume VPN VMware etc.
VPN set up is to allow outsiders to access your server.

LAN seetup is all Computers access Internet and also access the VPN server.

Firstly :confirm all computers/systems can access Internet.
    Post the ipconfig /all details

    EXAMPLE:
    ..Microsoft Windows XP [Version 5.1.2600]
    (C) Copyright 1985-2001 Microsoft Corp.
    C:\Documents and Settings\essbebe>ipconfig /all
    Windows IP Configuration

    Primary Dns Suffix . . . . . . . :
    Node Type . . . . . . . . . . . . : Unknown
    IP Routing Enabled. . . . . . . . : Yes
    WINS Proxy Enabled. . . . . . . . : Yes

Ethernet adapter Wireless Network Connection 2:

    Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :

    PC
    Card

I used word "client" because I am conneting to ADSL Router for internet
No I am not using any kind of VPNs
And I dont have any servers

I have only 1 computer (desktop) and 3 laptops all are able to acess internet
and all systems use Wi-fi to connect ADSL Wireless router for internet
My question is (will the ADSL Wireless router acts as a switch for this computers to communicate)
I dont thing for this type of question there is no need of posting ipconfig/all but still if you want I will post

    thank you

see "Broadband How to .... " forum .
There could be a guide available.
Please check Sharing files and folders ( also printer) between 2 or more computers in a home network.Or ICS

Your earlier 2 report/s on this were confusing!

Any way if you can connect to Internet with all the
four systems ( one desktop computer/ and 3 laptop computers ) No need.
