Hi All,

Just got a pop up message in my laptop (have Value Combo 799), the message says send an SMS "Delight" to 53636 to double the speed.

After sending sms got reply saying it will be activated with in 96 hrs.

Any one have already subscribed for this ?

This indeed is the offer by Airtel. People on other forums have confirmed with customer care. Sadly I havent got any mail from airtel in this regard.

If you have Airtel broadband connection, you can claim for the double speed...
No need to get any confirmation SMS or Mail.. etc
Call you customer care and get the double speed.

But check for the speed if any of your friend got or switched to the new plan

I went on the airtel website. Couldn't find any offers for Karnataka. Is it valid for users in Karnataka?

Yes...It Is true. I received an email regarding this offer and I've confirmed it with the customercare also. He said airtel is giving this offer to certain customers....I've applied for it and hope it gets activated in 96 hrs.
As per this offer the speed will double and you get Rs100 talktime on your landline.

I spoke to the Airtel customer care, Bangalore... It's confirmed that the speed will double for my present Unlimited 256 KBps connection... With 100 GB data transfer limit (Unlimited) per month.. That means the Fair Usage Policy will not change for my connection...

He asked me to SMS "Delight" to 53636. Also, I found a link where all of us may apply...

Airtel Double Delight Offer

I received a message about this last Saturday. So i immediately activated it by calling up customer care and sending the corresponding message.
3 days back i got a call form airtel regarding confirmation for the activation of the offer. Till today it has not yet been activated.
I called up the customer care for the status, after speaking to one representative about this, he forwarded me to the technical dept. A guy named Simon picked the call. He told me that this plan is valid only for the people in the 799 plan!! (I'm on the Turbo 1299 plan)
I told him that i received a confirmation call regarding this and also told him that I will be given this offer for sure. So, he reopened my complaint and told me he'll get back to me in a day!!

Hope it gets activated even for my plan also

P.S. I'm from Bangalore, Karnataka

I git the offer, called up Airtel support. I was told that this offer is for select customers only. Hence you will not find it on their website. I was told that for the additional Rs 100 I pay I will get Rs 100 worth on net calls free (including STD). I opted for the offer and got it. One more thing, It is not 96 hours, it will take upto 96 working hours or 12 working days. I got it activated in 5 working days. (I am in Chennai)

I just called airtel to enquire about this offer. 1st CC dint have any idea of what I was talking about so she transferred my call. 2nd CC was also not sure so he again transferred my call. And then the 3rd CC told that this top up is only for plans which have low speed and wont be valid on EXPLORER 1099 plan (384 Kbps/1Mbps) though I am not sure whether this is the case or he was just bluffing!!

Airtel Double Delight Offer

Are you on the Rs800/month 256kbps plan ? If yes just keep me posted about this as even i would like to change the plan. I will not be in bangalore for the next 2 weeks so not gonna apply...

Yes, it's 256 KBps Unlimited plan... Never cared about how much exactly it costs... As the bill is reimbursed by my brother's office....

yeah its in Karnataka...bcoz i got a msg regarding this...and i called up customer care they said its available...:-)i hav subscribed for it...waiting for doubling the speed..

oh is it...wat plan are u using nd wats the speed now??is speed same at day nd nite...or fluctuated...am using 799 plan..even i hav subscribed for the double speed plan...not yet got the confirmation...waiting for ur reply

anyone from Mumbai/Pune who were on 256 Unlimited who got upgraded ?

i hav activated it 5 days back...but till now i havnt got any msg regarding subscription..

Today airtel called up and told about the offer and that it would be activated within 3 days if i opt for it.....I had registered with the link in my mail about 10 days ago but they said that they didn't have any info abt online registration of my number, when asked upon.
Anyway I said yes to the offer....currently i am on swift 1099 so the speed will increase to 1MBps[100GB FUP]+Rs.200 talktime.

yes, i have taken up the offer , had to sms delight etc , now i have double speed 512kbps, is great offer i guess, hope they dont have any any hidden scheme.
