Thread: Airtel broadband plans

hii frnds actually now i m using airtle 1099 plan in which they are giving 384kbps day time and on night they are giving 1mbps speed and also on sunday full i will get 1mbps speed.....

But recently airtel have released new plan in which they are giving 1mbps upto 5gb and then after 256kbps unlimited for only 499rps per month..

my question is should i stay in my current plan or should i migrate to 499rps plan..since both are good plans i m confused so please help me guys what should i do??????///

and also one thing i forgot to tell that my plan that is 1099 plan is not valid now so if i change to other plan i will miss this plan forever.. so what should i do??????/////

5GB will get over in day with 1MBPS and thereafter you'll be left with 256KBps connection.Its a definite NO if you are a heavy downloader.

u r current plan seems good. why you need to change it ?

well by my point of view if u are Countinues Downloader then stick with the plan u have bt if you dont download that much and you only surf...then go for it....

guys i download too much but by seeing price of that paln i m little bit confused....
i think u know that usual price for 256kbps is 899 since i m thinking .....

If I were you , I will go for 499. I am not downloading more than 8 -10 gb. & using a limited plan to have more speed.

your 5GB bandwith will be over in just a week and then what! crappy 30kbps download speed

Well i need to know first which state is the plan for.

I live in Haryana and the plan for 1099/- is 512kbps.If I am replying to old message plz ignore.

they are keep on changing their plans and never give benefits to the old customers

Sorry to say that, 499 plan is only available for new users in my state(TAMILNADU) and not for old customers

i chose airtel 1699 at Nov 2009. they said if i paid three months once.it's free to install the broadband.so i paid three months once.after that everything's fine. so my broadband expired at Feb 2010 and i wanted to continue to use this broadband. I thougth I would paid for 1699 for next month. but they told me "you don't need to pay for this right now.this fare will count into your next bill"

But ,today my bill comes. It seems they didn't count the fare. but i have to pay for Monthly charges. this never happens for last several months.

Can somebody explain this to me?
