    Default beetel 450TC1 remote access?

Hi, I am new here and would really appreciate some help please. I've searched the forums but can't find my question anywhere. I have Airtel broadband in my flat in Kochi, but I need to be able to access the beetel 450TC1 router from my office in the UK. I am familiar with doing this with my UK routers from overseas (Draytek, Netgear, ZyXEL and D-Link models) but I can't access the Beetel.

I have a PC running in the flat and I can access the PC using logmein.com and by controlling the PC I can get into the router's setup menu. I've entered the settings for an account with dyndns.com so should be able to access the router on the Net, as it updates dyndns.com when the public IP changes. I can also check the IP via the PC login route, and it matches the one shown in the dyndns.com account.

However, entering the IP into a browser from the UK does not let me into the router. A Netgear router that I use sometimes, requires :8080 after the IP address, but that doesn't work with the Beetel. I can't find any way to turn remote access on or off from the menu, so perhaps it needs a port to be forwarded? Or have I missed something else?

Many thanks in advance for any help. I am completely stuck!

    Kind regards,

    Allan

Check the Dynamic IP of the system at Kochi. ( not as given by DYDNS)
type it in your address bar.
a window should open asking for credentials to access the modem/router.

Many thanks for your reply. I have been doing exactly what you suggest but Firefox says "Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at ..." while IE8 also fails to find the page. I have tried on Windows and Mac computers. It's something I do regularly with my other routers and I just can't see what is wrong. The router is online and I have copied and pasted the correct IP.

    Try mine now.
    See P.M
    will disconnect in 15 minutes.
if successful tell my router model.

Thanks, got into yours with no problem at all, although your menu screen is different from mine. I wish mine would respond!

    Beetel450TCI is same as UTSTARWA3002-G1
    with help menu missing.

When you access the router check SNMP or Tr_069 client
options if any are to be disabled.

@essbebe: Can you elaborate further how to setup snmp or TR_069 Client. I Have registered on dyndns. When i try to access my router via the hostname created, i get the message "ADSL is up now, please close web browser, open it and try it again!" whereas when i try to access it via IP, i am asked for user name and password to connect the router.

When i access it via my laptop connected to router.

When i try accessing it via my mobile using different connection it says connection closed by remote server

    Can you please help?

    I Have registered on dyndns.
Presume you need to use modem as web server.
Dydns changes Dynamic Ip to a fixed one.
You have to select port forwarding /virtual server menu items.
    Check in Portforward.com for wa3002-g1

Enter your computer's Ip address example 192.168.1.10
TR-069 client and snmp are not needed and meant for ISP's. keep them disabled.
    feedback.

    check this link
    http://www.indiabroadband.net/broadb...tml#post284804 (192.168.1.1 No access !)
try to access your server from a different location
mention your dydns address for testing.
