Thread: Home 649(Airtel/DL/FL/010) problem

I am using the home 649 plan on airtel. I am supposed to get 512 kbps till 5 gb(fair usage policy). But I am getting 512 kbps only for the first 10 minutes after I turn on the modem. After 10 minutes the speed goes down to 256 kbps and I have to switch on/off the modem again to get that speed back. Anyway I have not crossed the 5 gb FUP limit. Is it airtel itself or something on my side?

it must be some problem in your side, mine works perfectly.

Mention the modem.make model you use.
Speed depends on remote servers also.


Check speed at
Airtel
Click the option for Netexpert for chat.
Also at speedtest.net say Mumbai browser.

Post here from modem.
Statistics/ adsl data showing SNR/ATTN/
line rate/Rate and mod mode selected.
Disable under Tools
tr_069 client option if selected.

Speed upto 512 Kbps means 64KB/sec download ( ideal conditions )
