Thread: Airtel DNS is Down .. for past 2 Days

Hi There

Airtel is having DNS Issues i am not able to open website 90% of the websites does not open ..

I have contacted Airtel they are saying we are fixing it and it would tke time .

I am currently using Freedom Plan in Day 384 Kbps and 1 Mbps Unlimited

I have tried a lot of Universal DNS but all in Vain ...

Any help would be Great...


I Need this very Urgently ..

Enter google dns 8.8.8.8 and open dns
in TCP/IP properties page and also in modem
.
If MTU option is seen in modem change to
1492.
Temporary test/use>
Open tinyurl.com
type the web site address.
retype the short address in browser.
confirm web site opens.
Mention your modem router make model.

I have tried 8.8.8.8 on the Modem my MTU is 1492 and i am using Beetel 110 BX1

I have tried to open Tinyurl.com

Check in access control page all boxes checked.

Everything is Checked ..

Any Other Suggestion are welcome

I am connected to Airtel BB since 6AM to day.
I am in Chennai ( Tamil Nadu )
Problem may be Location specific.
Wait for Airtel CC to remedy the fault.

i also had same problem from past 3days..i called cc they replaced my router now its working properly so its better to complaint to cc they will resolve your problem..
